  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a signed print of “Unstoppable” by Gareth Hector, signed at the bottom by Four Tank Commanders with Two Additional Signatures at the bottom of the frame next to 2nd and 3rd Armored Division patches. The frame is well-put together and the print is very clear. This is a limited run print, number 48 out of 100 “Main Editions”.

April 1945: At dawn, Shermans and a Pershing from E-Company (32nd Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Division) spearhead the advance into Germany. Ahead lies enemy armor, anti-tank guns, and desperate soldiers defending their homeland. The odds are against Clarence Smoyer and his fellow American tankers. In armored combat, the defender often shoots first and for every Sherman damaged, the stats say that one of the American boys inside will be killed and another, wounded. Despite these harsh realities, the tankers of Easy Company charge forward, fueled by faith in one another and the angels on their shoulders—the P-47s. As the tankers pass a smoldering Tiger I from the nearby armor school at Paderborn, they know that the flyboys have brought them one mile closer to victory. From here to the end, this American team will prove unstoppable.

When the print was originally purchased, it was only signed by "Spearhead" gunner Clarence Smoyer and "Spearhead" Sherman commander Joe Caserta. Whoever purchased it then had two more signatures added to the print, Ray Stewart, 66th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, and George Smilanich, 67th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division.

The frame also has two separate signature cards, the first being for Major Frank McCauley, 56th Fighter Group, 61st Fighter Squadron, credited with 5.5 kills. The second is Eugene P. Roberts, 78th Fighter Group, 84th Fighter Squadron, credited with 9 kills.

The back of the frame has a great certificate of authenticity that is correctly numbered to the print. The frame measures 26 ¼ x 34 ¼”.

A great print, ready to hang and display.
