Original Item. Only One Available. This is a signed print of “The Wedge of Iron” by Michael Wooten, signed at the bottom by six Knight’s Cross Recipient Panzer commanders, including A. Wolfgang Koltermann, Otto Carius, Willy Jahde, Will Fey, Paula Egger, and Albert Kerscher. The print is limited edition, numbered 591/1000.
The print features Tiger Tanks of the "Das Reich" division advancing across Russia near the town of Kursk. The print was signed by six Knight's Cross commanders, all of which are featured in Gordon Williamson's book, "Aces of the Reich." They include:
- Oberleutnant der Reserve Otto Carius
- Oberleutnant Wolfgang Koltermann
- Major Willy Jahde
- SS-Oberscharführer Will Fey
- SS-Oberscharführer Paul Egger
- Oberfeldwebel Albert Kerscher
The frame measures 21 ¼ x 28 ¼” and is in great shape overall. There is no COA but there are some papers in the back explaining the print.
