Original Item. Only One Available. This is a signed print of “Pappy Boyington Scores His First Victory” by William Reynolds, signed at the bottom by Pappy Boyington and presented to “Michael & Dawn” on December 4th, 1979. The frame is now a bit loose and the print is held in place with tape. This piece should probably be reframed. This was a limited run print, out of 1000, but they were not individually numbered.
This striking print captures the legendary moment when Pappy Boyington, leader of the famed “Black Sheep Squadron” (VMF-214), scored his first aerial victory. The bottom depicts a photo of him, next to his squadron insignia.
This is a fantastic signed print in the original frame. It’s also one of the oldest prints we have offered. Just needs a new frame or to be better attached to this one. Comes ready for further research and display.
