Original Items: One Set Only. These are FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY Commemorative Plates measuring 10 1/2" across, issued in 1990 by the Edwardian Fine Bone China Company.
The first is for the evacuation of DUNKIRK and is marked MAY - JUNE - 1940 - 1990 and displays the Divisional Signs used by the BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE from 1940. The center bears emblem of the Dunkirk Veteran's Association.
The Second is for BATTLE OF EL ALAMEIN involving the THE 8TH ARMY and marked 1942-1992. The plate displays all the Divisional signs of the units involved in the defeat of the DEUTSCHES AFRIKA KORPS.
