  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is an Army HBT jacket & trousers costume piece or prop set that was used by an actor during the filming of Steven Spielberg's epic 1998 WW2 film Saving Private Ryan. Both the jacket and trousers are marked CRC, which denotes that the jacket came from the Costume Rentals Corporation, who supplied a substantial amount of World War II-era wardrobe and uniform pieces for use in the film. This was just released as CRC closed their doors in 2025, so this has never been on the market before.

The jacket is marked with Size Tag L for Large. The trousers are marked Size 40 and marked CRC, along with a stamp, U.S. S.P.R.. This stamp was sometimes used on uniforms used in production, rare to see. These sets would have been worn by the film crew and some of the background actors (extras), they were not intended to be on screen, but may have been in some sequences.

This jacket comes with a scanned and printed copy of a notarized letter confirming that the uniform and other material came from CRC, the Costume Rentals Corporation, who supplied a substantial amount of World War II-era wardrobe and uniform pieces for use in the film. The letter confirms that these materials were indeed used in the Production of SPR. The letter was signed by Harlan Glenn, who worked on the production of "Saving Private Ryan" as Costume Consultant and Purchaser.

The uniform set is in great shape overall and will make for a great display.

Interestingly, IMA supplied many of the Machine Guns, Edged Weapons and loads of other equipment for Saving Private Ryan which was released in 1998 and set the bar for the WW2 film genre.
