Original Russian Soviet Collapse Era Officer’s Dagger with Scabbard

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a nice example of the traditional Soviet Union Officer's Dagger, which has gilt brass alloy mounts and a nickel plated blade, in service-used condition. The blade is not marked with a maker or serial number. The grip of some sort of yellow ochre type synthetic bone. The pommel has a Soviet Star on the tip. The brass mounted leather scabbard is engraved on the throat with a clocktower on one side, and the Soviet Star on the reverse.
The dagger is 12½ inches long with a 8½ inch double edged spear-point blade, a classic dagger design. The scabbard lock is fully functional, and the hilt fittings are mostly tight on the tang, as the grip looks to have shrunk a bit in the past several decades. The blade has some oxidation and loss of plating near the tip. There is some tarnishing to the finish on the brass fittings.
