  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful example of the traditional Soviet Union Naval Officer's Dagger, which has gilt brass alloy mounts and a nickel plated blade, in unissued condition.  The blade ricasso is maker marked and dated in Cyrillic with БУЛАМ / 1992 (BULAT / 1992), and has a serial number on the reverse: 257534. The grip of some sort of yellow ochre type synthetic bone. The pommel has a Soviet Star on the tip, and the USSR Emblem on the side. The brass mounted leather scabbard is engraved on the throat with a fouled anchor on one side, and a Man-o-War on the reverse.

The dagger is 12 1/2 inches long with a 8 3/8 inch double edged spear-point blade, a classic dagger design. The scabbard lock is fully functional, though the hilt fittings are a bit loose on the tang, as the grip looks to have shrunk a bit in the past several decades.

Very attractive and ready to display!
