Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very nice example of a Cold War era Romanian Officer’s dagger from the period of 1965-1989, for the Socialist Republic of Romania. This was the Nicolae Ceausescu period. This example is serial numbered on the ricasso, 14980.
The dagger has a button release for the dagger. The hilt is very loose to the blade, but the crossguard is still tight. The blade is 8¼” long with an overall length of 12”. The finish on the hilt is a bit worn but still well-retained overall. The scabbard bears the crest of the Socialist Republic of Romania.
A great example of a Cold War Romanian dagger, the first we have offered. Comes ready for further research and display.
