  • Original Item: Only One Available. Well, this is amazingly rare; a Dutch Sea Service Flintlock Pistol with 13.25 inch barrel, steel mounts including a Naval Belt Hook.

Measure approximately 20.5 inches in overall length.

Upon close examination the trigger guard is a very tarnished brass that now looks almost like steel. Very unusual in that it was never designed or intended to have any type of Butt Cap just a swollen Wood ball that I supposedly could crush a skull as easily as a metal one.

The Flintlock mechanism is marked JOHAN ERTTEL one of the principal Dutch Military Arms Contractors and AMSTERDAM.

Full stocked complete with original ramrod.

See "BOARDERS AWAY PART 2 " by Gilkerson Pages 236 and 237.

An exceptionally rare Naval Pistol hardly ever encountered.
