Original Item. Only One available. All in German, this is an Official Foreign Ministry Globe of the "GERMAN WORLD" of pre-WWII. It is maker marked in the Indian Ocean with:

The size is large, about a 13"-15" diameter, and very interestingly shows all the previous German Colonies lost in 1919 to the Allies as still being the possessions of Germany 20 years later. Shipping routes are highlighted, and again it is so interesting that TOKYO and BUEN0S AIRES in Argentina were such predominant routes. A real window into NSDAP minds before WWII even started, clearly they intended to retake GERMAN OSTAFRIKA AND GERMAN SUDWEST AFRIKA ,as well as most everything else by the time they had won WWII. Clearly old already 80 years since being made.
The only concession made to post WWI changes are the inclusion of Italy's new Colonies of Ethiopia and Somalia shown here as "ITAL. OSTAFRIKA".
On its original stand, about 20" tall with wood base still having a non working compass in place. Ready to Display!
