Original Items: Only One Set Available: This is a great lot of Pre-WWI through WWII U.S. Military Field and Webgear. All items are genuine articles. The lot includes the following:
- RARE!- British-Made M-1923 Cartridge Belt. As part of the Lend-Lease agreement, part of Britain’s repayment was in locally fabricated equipment and uniforms. These items in a large percentage were used during the Invasion of Normandy. This particular belt has tell tale British-Made features, such as the webbed retainer loops, stripped webbing, British stamps, “puckered” cartridge pockets.
- Pre-WWI Model 1902 Haversack. Canvas is in good condition. Markings are worn. All buckles, ties and fasteners are present.
- Pre-WWI Model 1902 Haversack. Marked with Crossed Rifles and “N.G.W.” (National Guard Washington) on the outer flap. All buckles, ties, and fasteners are present.
- WWII M-1910/42 Canteen Cover with M-1910/42 Canteen Bottle. Cover is marked “COLLETTE MFG. CO./ 1942” . Cover is dirty, but the canvas is in good condition. All hardware is present, and the lift-the-dot snaps all work. The Canteen Bottle is unmarked.
- M-13 Periscope. As used on U.S. Military armored vehicles during WWII. this example appears to have never been issued or used.
- WWI Browning Automatic Rifleman’s Belt. Made by P.B.& Co. and dated June, 1918. The Rifleman’s Butt Cup has been removed from the right side of the belt, a common alteration.
