  • Original Item: Only One Available. Dating from the turn of the 20th century this is a Lancer officer's steel transit tin for his regimental parade hat. A rare find in that the 21st lancer regiment that was part of the last cavalry charge of the British Empire at the Battle of OMDURMAN in 1898 against the Dervish army in the Sudan. In 1921 the 21st Lancers were combined with the 17th Lancers becoming the 17th/21st Lancers.


    Tin measures 12 L x 7 H, and comes complete with carry handle. It is named on the top to:
