  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous red flag bearing a stitched white eagle, the symbol of Poland. The flag measures roughly 35 x 60” and is in good condition overall, the only serious issue being a tear near the header. The eagle itself is hand-cut and stitched, so this is certainly a flag made locally.

There were many variants of flag during the uprising but later this particular version became a dominant commemorating symbol, which leads us to believe that this flag may be commemorating the Greater Polish Uprising of 1918-1919.

The header retains its two grommets, and besides the one tear there isn’t much damage. A great example, the first Polish flag we have offered, ready for framing and display!
