  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice large Persian Dagger, known as a "Kard" (Persian for knife), with an overall length of 17 1/2". It features an almost a 12" single edged blade with a re-enforced tip to the front specifically for penetrating Chain Mail. The hilt's grip plates are of white bone surrounding a gold inlaid tang both on top and bottom. The rear portion of the blade is also inlaid with gold Islamic characters and designs.

This dagger means "ALL BUSINESS". The smoke colored blade could very well be Damascus/Wootz steel and is of very high quality.

A beautiful dagger, a great example of the Persian style, probably 250 years old, ready to display.
