Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a classic small Ottoman/Turkish Flintlock Blunderbuss pistol from the early 1800s. The barrel and mounts, such as they are, are all of iron. This weapon was never fitted with a trigger Guard and the pistol grip resembles a small rifle butt. The iron lock is secured by just two side nails (bolts) and the hand grip is decorated on each side with nine brass dome headed brass tacks in the shape of a cross.
Comes complete with steel ramrod. There is also some nice imitation checkering around the wrist, as well as some type of decoration on top of the barrel, just behind the lower barrel band. The pistol measures 19" in overall length with a 10" barrel.
Straight out of the attic, not messed with, ready to display!
