  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is special and very rare find. An Original sterling silver hallmarked officer's cross belt plate from the LARNE INFANTRY of ANTRIM, IRELAND dating from the Napoleonic wars.


    Hallmarks consist of a crowned lion face for London, running leopard denoting sterling silver, king's head for the Monarch and K representing the date letter for the year 1805.


    Displaying the regimental "Maid of Erin" Harp under the Royal Crown of King George III and two ribbons, above and below, reading-

    Measuring 3 inches tall by 2.15 inches wide this plate still retains is it twin studs and hook on rear for attachment to a white buff cross belt. Somewhat worn finish retains marvelous clearly visible original sterling silver hallmarks, complete with the original leather backing still in place!
