Original Item: One of a Kind. This is a strange item, which belonged to FELIPE NERI from CURNAVACA, MORELES, who was born on AUGUST 23rd 1884 and died in January of 1914 at 29 years of age. He served EMILIANO ZAPATA as a Demolition Expert, when he would pack explosives into Salmon Cans for easy use. He was known as a very high profile Bandit who used to "HARVEST" the ears of his Prisoners and the Enemy dead. He became known as the EAR CLIPPER, in Spanish "EL MOCHAOREJAS".
This folding knife is very large, closed its length is almost 12" but opened is is a full 21 1/2" in length. To close one needs to pull on the ring on the back base of the blade which allows the blade to fold away on itself. Both sides of the knife are covered in decorative horn and/or shell panels with brass fittings. There is a plaque in silver stating MOCHAOREJAS.
Really substantial, don't try and take this on an Air Plane as Cabin Luggage! Very impressive, ready to display!
