Item Description
Original item: Only One Available. Dating from the late 18th century or possibly early 19th century this is a spectacular traditional Burmese dagger known to as a DHA.
This fine example features a fully sheet silver covered scabbard and dagger mounts themselves are also chased silver. The main part of the hilt is beautifully carved ivory displaying a host of small rosettes with only very slight damage to one rosette.
The 7 inch single edge blade is nondescript but when sheathed the dagger is immensely appealing. Not a modern tourist reproduction item, this undoubtedly the "bring back" of some 19th century adventurer.
