Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very interesting triangular minefield marker from the South Korea Demilitarized zone, and is painted red with MINES stenciled in English and Korean.
The sign measures 5½" x 10¾” and shows heavy wear from being outdoors, with some minor loss of paint and heavy chipping of the material along the edges. Interestingly, there is a knot hole in the wood in between the I and N in MINES, and this appears to have been there when the sign was painted, as there is red and white paint in the hole. There are also holes where the nails were.
A very interesting minefield sign from the Korean War, ready for further research and display.
