It is constructed of multiple separate pieces of leather, with a 5 pointed Japanese Army Star on the front. The ear cups are complete, and made of hardened leather, each having holes in the center for mounting the communication equipment and receivers. All straps are fully functional, all the buckles and tabs work perfectly. The helmet features a green cotton lining. Overall condition is very good, but does show signs of use and age. This is a true combat fighter pilot's flight helmet!
