Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very large but currently non-functional Seikosha brand wall clock from the WWII period. The glass is cracked as shown, and will need to be replaced. The clock measures 16 ¾” in diameter and is 4 ¾” tall.
The clock’s face bears the Seikosha logo trademark over the company’s name in Japanese and then in English. The glass can be lifted but as mentioned there is a full crack breaking the glass, so the glass will need to be replaced. There is a small door at the bottom of the clock which is currently seized and will not open. Next to this door is a small stamped logo reading JWCH / JAPAN.
On the back of the clock is a paper pasted on with four Kanji characters, but due to a tear we cannot translate it. The wooden back shows cracking with one break at one end. There is a metal loop to hang the clock off of as shown, so it will look fine for display. The clock has two spots on the face for keys that we do not have.
A very interesting Japanese clock, in as-is condition. Please note that the glass may break further prior to arrival.
