  • Original Item: Only One Available. A white silk canopy parachute packed in canvas roll that when packed measures 7" h x 11 1/2" x 8". Features a Special Naval Landing Forces stamped canopy (anchor) and offered in excellent condition.


    A white cotton label in Japanese on the exterior of the tan canvas pack reads as follows:

    Used by marine paratroopers of the Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) during a drop for equipment such as mortars, machine guns and ordnance. All four leather straps on the bottom are intact with crazing.


    This is an ultra rare parachute used by some of the most fearsome Japanese troops during WW2. Captured and brought home by an American.
