  • Original Item: Only One Available. A white silk canopy parachute packed in canvas roll that when packed measures 7" h x 11 1/2" x 8". Features a Special Naval Landing Forces stamped canopy (anchor) and offered in excellent condition. The silk canopy has had its lines cut and is stamped FFK.

    A white cotton label in Japanese on the exterior of the tan canvas pack reads as follows:

    Used by marine paratroopers of the Special Naval Landing Forces (SNLF) during a drop for equipment such as mortars, machine guns and ordnance.

    This is an ultra rare parachute used by some of the most fearsome Japanese troops during WW2. Captured by a USMC soldier named KOGER who painted his name on the bottom of the pack and brought it home as a trophy of war.
