Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a rare late war pattern Japanese field telephone. The case is made entirely of wood with a dark olive green paint finish, inside is a black composition handset with original cord. There are separate side compartments for the crank, an adjusting tool, and grounding stake. Overall the telephone displays little evidence of wear, or use, just a few bumps to the paint surface, no cracks in the wooden case. Inside the lid of the wood case is an original Japanese data plate. Also included is an original leather carry strap (broken). We are not sure if it is functional.
