  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is a rare original WW2 Japanese Army Tailor Made Officer Uniform for a for a Second Lieutenant. The uniform is in excellent condition. The Tunic is of high quality construction, tight weave wool shell with soft cotton lining with brass buttons. Features Second Lieutenant collar tabs with a silver star. On the right breast there are two medals stitched in place. Original silk tailor label is stitched to the inner lining next to inner pocket on the front right. Size is approximately a 38" chest.


    Medals are as follows:


    - First National Congress Medal in Manchuria. Die struck 30mm diameter medal suspended from a brass ring and silk ribbon that has an elongated, vertical alloy hook is to its top, which folds down and mates with an alloy eye sewn near the base of its reverse. This rare medal by itself is valued at $500.


    - Red Cross of Japan membership medal.


    Jodhpurs style trousers are also very high quality, having a green tight woven wool shell, in classic lines. Features original suspenders and mother of pearl lower leg buttons.


    Overall excellent condition with no stains, tears or moth damage. They don't get much better than this.
