Original Japanese WWII Aluminum Canteen Dated 1941 with Named Carrier

Original Item: This is a nice totally original USGI bring back Japanese WW2 aluminum canteen with original cork wood stopper. The canteen is maker marked and dated on the bottom. It is stamped with 昭 十 六 , which reads Showa Kyu Roku, or the 16th year of Emperor Showa's reign, 1941.
The web harness is named (stitched) on the front, and there is a painted marking on the canteen. The leather strap that retains the canteen and stopper is unfortunately in delicate condition, while the harness is solid, with honest wear.
Overall a wonderful wartime issue canteen offered complete and personalized. Named, dated and issued ones this nice are hard to find. Ready to add to your collection.
