Fantastic near mint condition WW2 Japanese 8 x 6.2 degrees Rabbit Ears Trench Scope (Periscope) Binoculars complete with original matching serial number 9045 steel case (with both original case web pack straps still attached to backside), aluminum inner case flat tray insert (scarce to have as usually always missing from these scope sets), 2 spare tinted lenses still in the case, and original tripod head. Case measures approximately 15" x 7" x 6", and binoculars are approximately 11 1/2" x 6" x 4".
Everything appears to be in very good to excellent condition. The original tripod head mount is present and works in all respects, all movements are smooth and sure, however no tripod is included. Optics view through the binoculars on both sides looking downrange at a distant objects clear and crisp on both sides. All scope adjustments operate smoothly and correctly. Both the trench binoculars and hard case wear bear original WWII factory paint and factory matching serial numbers. Overall these are really in fantastic shape for a rare set of WWII optics especially with the combination of the matching numbered hard case.
