The lot includes:
- WWII Japanese Red Cross Medal With box: To honor those who donated blood or gave aid to the Red Cross during World War II, the Japanese government established the Red Cross Medal. There is a small bow rosette and a normal rosette with a small pin reading Kamechu.
- WWII Japanese Order of the Rising Sun 8th Class Medal with Case and Bow. The Order of the Rising Sun (旭日章, Kyokujitsu-shō) is a Japanese order, established in 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order was the first national decoration awarded by the Japanese government, created on 10 April 1875 by decree of the Council of State.
- WWI Japanese Rare Siege of Tsingtao Medal 1914-1915. The medal was awarded to the men of the Anglo-Japanese force that captured the German Colony of Tsing-Tao and the German Pacific Islands in 1914 to 1915. It was also awarded to the crews of the Japanese Fleet (the 2nd Special Squadron consisted of the Cruiser Akashi and 8 destroyers under Admiral Sato Kozo) that based in Malta participated in the naval operations in the Mediterranean Sea (1917 - 1918). Comes in the original wooden box.
