Original Italian WWII Wool Multi-piece National Flag Banner with Hang Ties - 38" X 54"

Original Item: Only One Available. Brought back by a USGI after WWII, this is a very good condition Italian National Flag Banner, which measures approximately 38" X 54". The flag looks to have seen moderate use with wear and staining in areas. It looks to be made of light weight canvas cotton cloth, and is sewn together from multiple pieces of cloth. The insignia of the House of Savoy is in the center.
It does not have a separate header, but instead has three hanging ties on the top side for hanging it horizontally, possibly from a wall or over a door. This flag design was replaced in 1946 with the current Italian flag, which has no device in the center.
A wonderful very hard to find flag, perfect for any Italian World War Two collection.
