Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a lovely Italian wood carving done during World War II, and depicts an Italian General seated in front of eagle feathers and a Fasces to each side, and he is holding a smiling baby. The piece measures 10¼ x 8 ½ x 2 ⅞” and is in great shape overall.
The General wear a hat, possibly a Bustina, with an eagle cap device to the front. He has cuff ranks denoting the rank of Generale d'Armata. The bottom right of the piece is signed Cambareu.
A great Italian piece, ready for display!
