Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is an outstanding display piece that will become a great backdrop to any Italian WWII collection. This enormous 31 ½ x 91” black treated cotton/rayon banner bears a large golden Fasces, over the phrase:

OBBEDIRE
COMBATTERE!
BELIEVE
OBEY
FIGHT!
This is the motto of the Italian fascist regime, meaning that this banner likely hung on a government building or in a meeting hall. The banner has eight small hooks along the top edge, likely to hang off of a rail or a building.
The banner is of multi-piece construction and is still strong overall with some pulled threads but no serious damage. There is heavy wear to the gold Fasces and lettering but everything is still easily discernible.
