  • Original Item: Only One Available. An Original WW1 era AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN Officers Sword with extremely ornate chiseled basket guard and scabbard mounts with traces of original gilt finish over brass remaining.


    Features a double headed eagle coat of arms on the guard bowl and Royal monogram "FJ I" for FRANZ JOSEF THE FIRST" (1867-1915) on the top scabbard mount.


    Wire bound Shark Skin grip fully present and leather scabbard still very solid with no


    Compromised stitching. Some of the black gloss leather finish of the scabbard has flaked due to 100 years of approximate age but can be revitalized using shoe polish if so desired.


    Bright polished 27.5-inch blade is unmarked, with only slight traces of age corrosion.


    Straight out of the attic, a "Sleeper" and ready to display.
