Original Item. Only One Available. These are WW2 issue Japanese army officer binoculars in their original tropical carry case, offered in great condition. The binoculars are fully functional, with each side having an independent focus control. Optics are mostly clear, and able to focus accurately. These bear a manufacturer's logo for Nikko, Tokyo Nippon and serial number No. 40570. Overall condition is very good. The neck strap for the binoculars is leather and is in very good condition with crazing to the leather.
The case is of the painted canvas type, common for tropical use, and is in good condition, with the carrying strap and closure strap still retained, but the strap is worn and aged. The woven canvas belt loop is very well-retained.
