Original Imperial Japanese WWII Hasegawa Unit History - 7½ x 10½”

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very scarce WWII Imperial Japanese unit history, which depicts tons of photographs of soldiers training for combat. The Japanese is very difficult to translate, but the title appears to be Commemorative Photographic Book of the Chinese Military (Or the Japanese military in China) Excluding Iwasakibe. This likely isn’t correct, and makes for a good research project in figuring out the actual unit.
The front and back pages depict soldiers in the field with words of affirmation in serving the Emperor across the page. Each page is only printed on one side. The book is organized moreso as a yearbook with more photos than anything else.
The editor’s note of the book discusses joining the “Hasegawa Unit” in 1937, which is likely the key to figuring out what the unit is.
A fantastic example which does have some damage, ready for further research and display.
