Original Item. Only One Set Available. This is a very interesting Imperial Japanese uniform set, which is from the Pre-WWII period, but may possibly be from the WWI period. The uniform is khaki with red piping on the cuffs and red collar tabs that were stitched on crudely. The look is correct for WWI but the collar tabs may be added.
The front of the tunic has a five brass button closure, and the breast pockets have scalloped flaps. There are two waist pockets on the interior, a very interesting design. The red piping of the cuffs has some fraying. There look to be award loops on the tunic but many of them are torn and broken.
The trousers are matching to the tunic with the same red piping, and French-made buttons. The hook and loop work fine but the buttons are oxidized.
A very rare uniform set, the first of its kind we have offered. Ready for display.
