Original Item: One of a Kind. This is really cute, it really is in the form of a WWI German U-Boat, measuring just 4 1/2" in length. Beautifully executed and it very probably could still operate once properly serviced. Almost certainly made by one of the crew for his Captain, probably one of the engine crew, it is engraved across the under side:-
