Original Items. Only One Pair Available. This is an extremely scarce set of World War I dated Gewehr 98 Ammunition pouches, both dated 1915. These are very difficult to find without post-war modifications. The pair matches well and would look fantastic displayed together on a belt.
One of the pouches retain faint German unit markings inside the flaps, but they are too difficult to read. Maybe with enough work, they could be discerned. One example is stamped SY 1923 for post-war reissue in Finland, but the Finnish did not make any modifications that alter it from WWI configuration.

The metal fittings have varying amounts of verdigris which is to be expected. These pouches are in fantastic shape for being in complete WWI Configuration. The pair come ready for further research and display!
