Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a very beautiful officer’s accessory, a swagger stick/cane with a German Model 1917 Eierhandgranate body as the handle, the grooves in the center of the grenade making it easy to grip. This is a really great custom done piece. Like all deactivated ordnance, this cane is Not Available for Export.
The head of the cane is relatively tight on the shaft, and there’s a bit of leather reinforcement below the head on the shaft as shown, but the top of it appears to have deteriorated a bit. The cane itself measures 35⅜” including the head. The cane is very strong and doesn’t appear to have any weak spots or cracks, which is miraculous for being over 100 years old. This would make a killer walking stick even today, so don’t miss it!
