Original Imperial German WWI National Tri-Color Flag with Imperial Family Eagle - 43" x 75"

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very impressive totally original authentic Imperial German WWI Large National Flag, which has the "Imperial Family" version of the State Eagle hand painted or possibly printed in the center. This version does not have the "Scepter and Orb", and has a smaller eagle on the chest, which itself has a black and white shield for the Kingdom of Prussia. The flag is of multi-piece construction, and looks to be made of wool. It is not very heavily constructed, so we assume it was intended for indoor display.
The flag measures approximately 43" x 75", which is around 4 by 6 feet, so it would be great for a wall display. The flag header is canvas, but it is not extremely thick, and has a plant fiber rope header, with loops at either end for hanging it. This flag is in very good condition, though there is age toning, as well as some small rips and tears in some places.
