  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a great named copy of “Der Gute Kamerad: A Study and Reading Book for the Service Instruction of the German Infantryman”, printed in Berlin in 1916. This example is named on the interior to Gustav Erhardt of Grenadier Regiment Konig Karl No. 123, formed in 1799. Inside of the book was a great small 4 x 6” Imperial German flag which is in great shape and will make for a fantastic display with the book.

The book has a blue cover and is in great shape overall. There is a page on the interior cover in which the previous owner tried to get more information on the unit the owner of the book was in.

The book measures 5 x 7 ½” and is roughly 254 pages long. There is some damage and wear to the book. The small flag found inside makes for a great display.
