  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a fine pair of German made six strength binoculars, nicely marked by CARL ZEISS, JENA complete with the original leather neck strap. This is a very unique set, as the underside of the case is marked in gold with

    Wagner Art. 48

And the front of the binoculars are beautifully engraved with Wagner Art. 48, making this a tremendous matching set issued to a soldier named Wagner of the 48th (4th Royal Saxon) Field Artillery Regiment. The binoculars are in good working order and retain the neck strap. They are marked with serial number 146515. The only real issue is the small strap at the top of the case has broken. The long belt loop is still retained. A really great named set, ready for further research and display!
