Original Imperial German WWI Miniature Prussian Infantry Officer M1897 Pickelhaube Helmet Jeweler's Keepsake Box

Original Item: One-Of-A-Kind. This is a miniature ring or keepsake box which is fashioned to be an Imperial German / Prussian Pickelhaube. The helmet is true to a larger pickelhaube. It has chinscales, spike, kokarde, back strap and most importantly a faithful wappen for the Kingdom of Prussia.
The top of the pickelhaube body which is tan velvet is hinged and swings open once you press both Kokarde in. Once open, the top half is lined with white cotton and the bottom half is lined with a blue padded velvet. The bottom blue pad has holes present, indicating that this keepsake or sweetheart box was used for earrings or pins.
Unfortunately there are no markings or writing visible anywhere on the box, making it unable to be identified or linked to a jeweler.
This is truly a wonderful example of an item rarely seen! This was the first for us here at IMA. Comes ready for display!
