Original Item: Only One Available. This German Military bugle is of all brass construction with brass fittings, typical of German brass instruments. Showing use it bears numerous small dents with some scrapes, but is absolutely authentic. It comes complete with its original mouthpiece (removable) and one suspension ring and with a very pleasant tarnished finish overall.
The bell krantz is in good condition, though due to being brass there are a few dents present. We cannot find markings on either the mouthpiece or bugle.
The Prussian Arms in an Oval shield displays a Spread Eagle wearing a Crown with F.R. to center, with the eagle carrying a Sword and a Scepter in either claw. This is soldered onto the bell as standard.
This bugle is one of the better examples we have seen, and still rings clear if one knows how to use it. It looks to be made entirely of seamed brass tubing, with the brazing lines still clear. There is denting present on the body of the bugle.
A romantic item from the terrible First World War, ready to display or even use!
