Original Item. Only One Available. This is an outstanding pewter water carafe made during the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm II, likely around the turn of the 20th century. The carafe measures 14 3/4” tall with a roughly 6 1/4” base diameter, and it stands on three small legs. The stein lid depicts an Imperial German shield waving.
The bottom of the carafe is etched with a number, 7975, which is likely just a later-added museum catalog number.
The carafe has some denting and split seams but has a working hinge and some lovely designs. Ready for display.
