Original Imperial German WWI Frenglas 08 Binoculars by Emil Busch A.G. with Extremely Rare Ersatz Wood Carrying Case

Original Item: Only one available. This is a nice pair of German Fernglas 08 binoculars, nicely marked by Emil Busch A.G. They are marked with serial number Nr 125119 on the hinge tension nut along with Fernglas 08. These field glasses retain their original neck strap, but not the eye-cover. The set comes in an extremely scarce Ersatz wooden carrying case.
The optics are in excellent totally clear condition with working focus adjustments on both sides. The case shows age and some dryness but overall in very good conduction. The carrying case is of the most difficult-to-find Ersatz examples, made of wood. The lid is retained, but the pressed paper hinge is entirely broken, as are the two leather retention straps on the sides. The two pressed paper belt loops are retained, however, and the interior of the lid retains the label.
Very hard to find in the wooden case, and ready to display!
