Original Item: Only one available. This is a nice pair of German Fernglas 08 bincoulars, nicely marked by C.P. GOERZ of BERLIN. They are marked with serial number Nr 94302 on the hinge tension nut, under the model name, and the top side of the hinge is marked DIENST-GLAS III. 18. This set comes complete with Bakelite eye cups and original leather neck strap.
The binoculars are contained in their original leather case, which has been marked on the outside: Emil Busch A.G. / Rathenow under the rear brass loop.
The optics are in excellent totally clear condition with working focus adjustments on both sides. The inside of the leather case bears the original paper instruction label for Frenglas 08, which has been covered with tape to preserve it. Inside of case is white felt lined. Shows age and some dryness but overall in very good conduction, though there is a repair on one of the closure straps.
