Original Item. Only One Available. This is an absolutely stunning example of a German Hymn Book or Gesungbuch, with beautiful mother or pearl inlay on the cover and a latch to keep it closed. This example is named on the interior and dated 1911, when it was printed and first used. The book measures 5¼ x 3¾ x 1” and is in good shape, coming in its original box.
The Gesungbuch reads FRIDA HILLER 14. SEPTEMBER 1911 on the first page, being named to the owner a few pages later. The book is of very exquisite quality and construction, and likely cost a heavy fee when it was originally sold. The original box measures 5½ x 4 x 1½”. A great example, ready for further research and display.
