Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very interesting Prussian short sword that we have been unable to find another example of. This sword sports a heavily worn 23¼” unmarked blade with a single fuller and various chips along the edge. The overall length is 28¼” and the hilt is wire-wrapped sharkskin.
The crossguard has a large scallop chape with a Prussian crown on top which is attached via two small square rivets to the back. The leather blade buffer is retained ,as well as the leather scabbard which retains the acorn-shaped frog stud. The scabbard measures 23½” and is in good shape however the drag is disconnected although it sits for display.
An interesting sword, ready for further research and display.
