Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely piece of German porcelain from the Pre-WWI era. This lovely candy dish has a porcelain bayonet with the hilt surrounded by laurels and berries, with an attached troddel knot. There is some minor damage, but this will be a great complement to any Imperial German collection.
The dish measures 6 ¼ x 4 ⅜ x 1 ⅝” and is in great shape with heavy loss to the gold inlay border. The coloring of the bayonet is still in great shape. There is one small bit of the laurels broken off, but this appears to be the only serious damage.
There are no maker marks in the mold. This is a great display piece, likely dating to around 1880-1895. Ready to display or use!
