Original Imperial German Pre WWI Fire Brigade Pickelhaube Style Leather Helmet with Suum Cuique Badge & Liner

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition, turn of the century pickelhaube-style German Fire helmet, with a boiled leather body, brass front plate (wappen), brass central comb, and brass fittings. The central plate has a star with an eagle and SUUM CUIQUE, Latin for "to each his own".
The helmet has two brass studs on the sides, but there are no cockades or chinstrap. The boiled leather body shows heavy crazing and the front visor brass trim has a break. The Suum Cuique badge is missing one prong so it is loose. It is roughly size 7.
Full leather lining is still mostly intact with the tie string retained but not tied. There are no interior markings besides a set of initials on the crown.
Condition overall is very good, and this configuration was typical of the 1890-1910 period. The interior crown has two original comb anchors secured under the bolts for the top comb. There are no other markings inside the helmet.
This is an unusual and very attractive item, perfect for any helmet collection.
